in a New York state of mind

in a New York state of mind

I can’t believe I am going to admit this, but I am part spoiled brat. In the past year I have had the opportunity to travel to the great NYC, vacationed in the Caribbean, and finally had a lovely time in Paris in Rome this fall. The travel bug bit hard when I was a freewheeling 18 year old. Just a baby really, and I can’t seem to shake it, nor do I wish too. I just need more money! yep, we all do. It was this time last year two of my BFF’s and I hopped a red eye to the Big Apple for a couple days to taste what the city that never sleeps had to offer. Needless to say I am itching to go back. Until then I have my pics to tie me over.

  1. NYC is my absolute favorite place in the world. One of the last cities that is loud and busy as cities should and aren’t anymore. The best food, the best entertainment, the best art deco. Your pictures make me want to be there so bad!! Thanks for offering me this mini vacation:0)

  2. Gorgeous photos as always. Holy crap. I bow down to your crazy photography skills. NYC won’t be the same without you…. It will, however, be pretty awesome! Hehehe!!! xOOx

    • I honestly think it is a great thing for an Italian girl, not weird at all. I think NYC is a place for everybody. That is what is so amazing about the buzz and hum of it. Everyone is side by side just making their way. What better place than the streets of New York. When I was in Paris , the city made me feel very feminine and pretty, all day long.I can’t describe it in words, but that is how I felt. .. I do want to spend some extended time there in my life time. It is food that will feed my soul.:0) I will take my daughter there when she is 16. Do you have children?

  3. WOW. Gorgeous pics. I had the luck to move over here permanently last year and although I am not a spolit brat (tee hee), I must have the luck of the Irish because I live 2 blocks from Central Park, I recently got a job in a heritage building in Museum Mile and my office overlooks the park. My commute to work is a 6 minute walk. Maybe I should take some more photos too, to remind myself how good I have it! Thank you for the reminder.

    • Thank you Nina!! I love and appreciate your feedback! You are a very lucky girl to live in such a vibrant alive place. I will definitely be back, hopefully next year with my husband. There is so much to do and see. Brooklyn is in my sights as well. BTW~ your mandelas are GORGEOUS! I will spend some time mulling around your sight! Cheers! Kimberly
