NYC street meet

It’s a nice, lazy, rainy, Sunday morning where I am. Snoozy, comfy, inside day it is for me and my peeps. Coffee and couch will later give way to wine and couch. :0)

street3 Just thought I would share some shots I had forgotten about from a trip to NYC just over a year ago. Some were taken on the way to Soho out of the cab window and some were snapped just bumbling around the borough. I hope you enjoy them. Cheers and I hope you are also enjoying a lovely lazy weekend!

street1 The Avenging Angel….wish I remembered what that was aboutstreet2 The Palace Theatre~ Obviously, not in Soho but Times Square. We treated ourselves to the musical “Priscilla Queen of the Desert”. Awesome is not even the word. I think I am still laughing from the performance. Brilliant. Highly recommended. If you go don’t forget your pink boa! Wish we had time to see another performance… next time..right? The architecture speaks for itself. If building could talk. The stories they would tell.street4 The Angelika Film Center~ Soho….apparently a lovely place to see a movie.street5 The decorative bits atop this building make me dream of a wicked awesome cocktail party in the summer with artists, musicians and actors. I bet the inside of this building ain’t half bad either.street6 Balthazar~ A little piece of Paris in the city. ooh la la! This beautiful space was converted from a leather wholesalers warehouse  into one of the most delicious and gorgeous of places to eat in the city. Grab a couple of your BFF’s and go for bagels, cream cheese and lox. I did!  street7 My gal pals did a little shopping here for their kids. I am not a huge fan of shopping but that being said there were some pretty sweet shops. street8 Those fire escapes. Love em. The architecture speaks for itself. If building could talk. The stories they would tell.street9If streets could talk.
