It was feeling so much like any other drizzly gray day. A wordless Wednesday. Thinking about ripping off a quick blog post. Maybe throw some photos up on this cyber screen and press the magic button. Off they fly away into “nowhereland”. Done. Mission accomplished. Check. On to my jobs. The gruel. The grind.
So, coffee in one hand, mouse in the other, I sat….. scrolling and scrolling, past and through moments, in and out of days and years. A slow warm burn ignited my heart. A little fire lit up somewhere in my darkness. Peeking down into the rabbit hole I could see that everything is golden. What the hell? E.V.E.R.Y. single day is golden.I don’t have time to waste. What if? I don’t know…. I can’t see what is waiting for me. All I know is now. Now is good and shiny ~brite. Looking backwards and forwards I see my life with rose coloured glasses. I see good and warm people, I see places I have gone and places I am going. I see laughter and memories. I see a good life worth living the best I can and I see more of that goodness. Now, here, today.
I think photos of Paris always make me feel that way—
Amen, sister!!! Amen.

Now, here, today, Kim.
Life is Grand! Nice post, making me homesick. Everywhere does that, but especially Paris.
