Now, who wouldn’t appreciate a nice homemade batch of cookies, a surprise bouquet of colourful flowers, or a home cooked meal delivered? It doesn’t have to be complicated, just a simple act, just because. Spread the love people.It is contagious.
- ~ go outside. take your bike for a spin around the block, spend some time in the garden, weed pulling can be fun, even a walk in the rain can turn that frown upside down. Breathe in the fresh and exhale out the stale. It feels good. Personally, I could live outside. Hopefully I never have to.
- ~spend time with animals~ it is a proven fact that animals are therapeutic. They lower blood pressure, they give love unconditionally.I get my love fix from my dog Bear and my daily dose of barn therapy. Cleaning stalls and grooming my horses is my definite happy place.
- ~ listen to music~ crank up the tunes. turn up the volume. Sing your heart out like no one is listening. I guarantee that before you know it you are dancing with the vacuum and a little butt shaking action starts while swirling the toilet brush. Hey, before you know it the chores are done. Just like that. Bam, pow, sham wow ! Shake that thing like you mean it.
5~ drink wine and cook~ I saved one of the best for last. Go be inspired by what is in season at the market. It tastes better, number one and try to buy local. Open a nice bottle of red wine, turn on something sweet to the ears and cook it with love for your peeps. Doesn’t need to be fancy, sometimes the simple things are best.
