free flying

Yes, it has been a while. A couple of weeks at best. Who is counting though.

I have however been participating in the process of my life. Just being. Being in the moment.

Unconsciously  tasting, testing  and savouring the essence of  the summer days like a rare and tasty morsel. Locking and stocking it up to be used on a dreary winters day.  Canning good times and golden sunshine. Holding it in because the summer is far too short and time too swift and letting it out is like letting it go. Free, flying away and then it is gone.  Poof!  Gone.

Writing the individual letters that  now form words  feel like they are being carved into concrete rather than lightly tapped onto the screen. In the past thoughts and ideas would seep out like a  fresh tea bag dancing  in the boiling water. Time to massage my brain muscles doorway and oil my rusty digits. It is time to share again.

I have been trying my best to keep up with all of your summer memories in the making. Thank you for letting them free and sharing them . I feel heartfelt gratitude for the connections that have been made within our blogging community, the comments/likes and just the mere fact that anyone takes the time to look and read is truly not lost on me.Time is precious. Seize the day my friends, make love, not war, turn your faces to the sun and let the light into your souls.

  1. Yay, K, we were taking a blogging break at the same time; now we are back. Glad to see that you were just being. I stored up some canned sunshine from Kona in Hawaii. I will trade some for your pickled happiness anytime. {{{hugs}}} Kozo

    • ‘ You have a deal man! Your vacay’ looked amazing and restful and full of love and I could literally feel your happiness and peacefulness glowing through the computer. I wish summer lasted forever.

      (((hugs))) K.

  2. Agree. Just returned from a fishing trip in Alaska. My favorite fishing boat name was “Carpe Diem” In other words, “enjoy the day” Nice post. Thanks 🙂

  3. Wow… I love your blog so much! “Writing the individual letters that now form words feel like they are being carved into concrete rather than lightly tapped onto the screen. Thank you for sharing your beautiful artistic heart with us all here. You are a gem, and I cherish you!
    Big hugs of gratitude…. G
