This weeks challenge was an interesting one for me. You might be thinking ‘what is so unusual about this?’ I know right? It’s rain. Rain falls from over our heads.Pretty regular and standard occurrence depending where you happen to live. Well, not unless you are a goddess floating around on top of a fluffy white cloud eating Philly on a bagel. She’s got it made. Remember her from the cream cheese commercial?
Seriously though, this is summery winery rain.Warm and magical. Yes, open your mouth and let that nectar in and before you know it, you are tipsy. No, I lied. I wish. I love my wine and we were at a winery after all.
Ok, now to the point. This was the second time we were up at Mission Hill Winery that day. We had to drop off two ‘others’ who thought it was so ‘booooorrrriiiiing’.
To be honest, I guess it wasn’t that fun for them ,they are 12 and 14 . I say, ‘Whatever girls, suck it up little buttercups’. See that stance? It says I am waaaaiiiting…..come on Mom. MOM. MOMMMMM!!!!!!! LOL! Something so funny about getting these teeny bops all worked up.
Anyway, back to the beautiful rain drops. They had me at hello. They were something between droplets and a sparkling crystal mist. Almost magical. Trust me, I hadn’t even had any wine yet. The way the sunshine had the water crystals back-lit , the gorgeous backdrop of this architectural dynasty, the wine, yes the wine I never ever got to taste. That’s fine. For me, the combo of all the above, and throw in a bestie’ to boot( lol, not kick, I am horrible with slang) that prompted me to come up to the Okanogan with her. All of it a pretty fine time, and that my friends is my Unusual Point of View.
