~now and again I let go of my camera for a few days, not mindfully so but perhaps for lack of a muse, or another starving arm of life grabs me and needs to be fed or to be honest, just plain old laziness. whatever the excuse, when I hold that black box again and peer through the looking glass a fierce energy takes hold. At 1/400th of a second a torchlight ignites. Humankind leak in rainbow colours from the inside out, flora and fauna mutate into a feast of form, raw light dances its way down from heavens canopy casting glitter and throwing smoulder into dark corners. A ritual release of a shutter trip and a chronicle of a stolen moment is born.
