Hey! Friday!

HEY!  Yes you!!!! .. Friday.  I think I love you. You are one of my favourites. Want to know why?

friday10 No, jk.  Just get your mind out of the gutter already. K. You are a day for frolicking with friends. Friends that make your spirit soar. For fun, good times, for freedom. I like that. I like that a lot.

Like her…. I like her so much I love her…

and him too….that is my honey….isn’t he handsome? I love him too…

Can’t forget about this. You usually have this on the menu at some point. The ambrosia of golden nectar from the beery Gods. Beer, I love you too.Remember that.

Mmmm…..and of course with drink goes food…right? Hand in hand. Like this. Some lovely, lovely smoked salmon all plated up so beautiful you don’t want to eat it but that would be super stupid so of course we do and it is delish’ beyond words. Have I mentioned I am a pleasure pig?  Food glorious food. Oink. Snort.

Just sadly beer food isn’t this fancy pants all the time… that cheese there, that is burrata. OMG. So creamy and so beautiful with fresh tomatoes and basil. Now I am getting hungry. IF you haven’t tried it, you should. Like today or your life will be one day shorter of a pleasure you should have had yesterday. Really. Yum and yum.

maggie and bear. there must be food around.

Hey, they want some too, but that is not going to happen. They are always hungry. Trust me the one on the right…he eats like a King. In fact he probably just scarfed down a mondo bowl of something.  Just do not give him lettuce…. enough said.

Thank you Friday for being the day without a time limit. A day I can spend as much time with my horses as I want. To love them up, ride them, let other people love them up too ..

and ride them….and love them, I know I already said that but you can never give too much love.

Now, that being said, I am getting super hungry and I have to go to the barn and then get ready to go have some cold drinks and yummy food with my silly friends who I adore. Thank you Friday. You are a superstar!

What is your favourite day of the week? How do you spend it? Talk to me people..

  1. Choosing a favorite day is, for me, like choosing a favorite color. Can’t decide. Often I just go with the one I’m looking at/living at the moment. I spend every day with a little bit of writing or reading, some walking/exercise, some lovely companionship, good food–always, and work or hobbies I enjoy. (I’m from the US; I suppose the “favorite” gives me away.)

  2. Saturday… the alarm doesn’t go off at 5, I get to roll out of bed and watch a soccer game or two to start the day, and then… spend the rest of the hours with my two favorite people. It’s an adventure from start to finish even if we never leave the house.

  3. Great post! Friday probably is one of my favorites, but it all depends. Nothing beats first Monday of the week-long vacation : )

  4. What a wonderful post to return to, K. Love the humor, the love, the cuisine, and, of course, the photos. What a charming Friday. My favorite day is Monday when the kids go back to school. haha. I do like starting the week, though. Feels like starting over. {{{hugs}}} kozo
