I am cheating…
I am pulling from my archives because I have been a wee bit busy. I( I mean we…) have twins. YUP two girls! they are now 10 weeks old. wildly cute little monsters that wake me up very, very, early.
every. single. day.
really early.
blah.
they eat a lot.
they pee a lot
they poop a lot.
thank the heavens they sleep a lot too.
who knew.
I knew. who am I kidding. I just couldn’t resist.I am a sucker like that.
they also have me in a wicked trance.they cast a spell over me.they had me at hello. I am now spending my days just frolicking about, watching them, cuddling them and busting a gut over the antics.. needless to say I haven’t been taking as many photos as usual.
gawd… let me tell you one thing I know for sure.
puppies are a ton o’ work.
…see that mug? she is laughing at me because she just ate the seat out of my shorts!
jack russell puppies to be precise. little monsters they are. puppies on double shots of espresso kind of speed.geez, they are fast. crazy, I know.
on with the show. here is my offering for the weekly challenge. the contrast between the delicate shoe and the cobbled footing. and if you eye spy ahead you can see most people wearing sensible shoes. eg. runners.
this snap was taken in Rome. I was bowled over at how this beautiful Italian woman was navigating the cobblestone streets in her pointy heels. I myself am a true blue flip flop girl most days and cowboy boots the others so I couldn’t stop myself from snapping a few shots of her.
then I cheated again. I downloaded the shots to my mac, sent them back to my phone and ran them through one of the iphone photo apps.
I am posting a few different versions..

I started reading this wondering how in the heck did I not know you were even pregnant with twins! I even thought… but you were in Thailand! 🙂 Get a load of that sweet little girl. I love her. I believe your lady in heels was very photo worthy. In flip flops I would most like stub my big toe on one of those cobblestones. How fun would it be to gracefully walk in those shoes for one day?
I gotcha! lolol… no babies for me now… just horses and puppies and finish trying to grow up my teenagers into good humans.
One day it would be nice to rock a pair of high heels… until then I am sticking to boots and flip flops! 🙂
ps~ isn’t the weather just amazing? it finally feels like summer..
When I first started reading, I was like… wait, let me go back in posts, did I miss something, she was pregnant with twins?! Haha.
Oh pups — so much work, but so much enjoyment! I have a yorkie/maltese mix + I knew I’d have my hands full during the first vet visit. “Oh a terrier, huh? You mean a terror.” said the vet. I laughed — but now 6 years later, I know why he said it. They are so heartwarming + wonderful, but they keep you on your toes! Hope you have a blast with the new pups.
Hi Caitlin…. your dog sounds adorable…I love yorkies and maltese.. heck I love all dogs. I know what the vet means about ” the terror” I call mine the terrorists. 🙂
