~ a circlet of diaphanous windflowers bask beneath a canopy of sun freckled rainforest.
The princely maidenhair ferns are whirling and twirling close by the sun swept delicate flower faces . Stately and yet in a standoffish manner they bow their elegant tendrils and apprehensively sweep toward the filmy flowers. The whorled and leggy ferns wish to dance. The windflowers softly whisper to one another while being tousled by Springs zephyr. Twinkle toed and lissome they mingle, some timorous, some a sliver more cheeky. The dance a brief pirouette and then slowly but happily retire back into the mossy forest floor….
I ain’t no doctor, but was that poetry???? Well done grasshopper. Well done.
That was my attempt at it! LOL! Thankyou!
Lovely shots! Just beautiful!
Zen Doe, I so appreciate your comment!
Beautiful images and words! Bonus points for using my favorite word of the moment: diaphanous.
Hey, I am glad you liked it. I do like the word diaphanous as well…. cheers.
Spring wild flowers can be so incredibly delicate. Gorgeous !
Thanks
Beautiful all around. I scrolled down and expected to find William Wordsworth’s name at the end of the poem. Wow, Kimberly, who knew. You got some mad poetry skills. {{hugs]}} kozo
p.s.
I could use a tousle by Spring’s zephyr right now.
I like white Anemone flowers even though they are invasive.
Ha ha Kozo… at least it is better than yesterday, me ripping a strip off everything within arms reach..lol! Thank you once again for raising me up into the sunshine my friend. I definitely like surfing in your happy place. Cheers and hugs…k.
You just brought a little extra light into my day. So pretty!
Your photography astounds me!
mmmm so pretty! Your inspiring words gave me the lift to do the digging dance with my crazy Wegelia (don’t know how to spell it so I better dig it up) and make a space were the fairies can play in sparkle raindrops and lavender mists.
I love your magical garden… :0) xo
Beautiful!!! Love this one. Thank you for sharing your gifted talents here!
